VUELVEN LAS ATRACCIONES
El próximo jueves 23 a las 20.30h se
presenta el libro “Vuelven las atracciones” en la librería Anti- de
Bilbao.
En octubre de 2007, la
productora de arte consonni y la artista Saioa Olmo
reabrieron el Parque de Atracciones de Bizkaia en Vuelven las
atracciones, unas visitas guiadas para descubrir las nuevas atracciones
que el espacio ofrecía. Este
libro documenta aquellas visitas con cientos de fotografías de los visitantes
que participaron en el proyecto así como las historias que
contaban los guías completado con textos
relacionados.
Los textos escritos por el filósofo Luis Navarro, Rubén Lorenzo y Pablo
Rey miembros del colectivo Basurama así como el de Tomás Ruiz, responsable del
blog “Y me quedé esperando el
tren”, contextualizan el proyecto dentro de conceptos como el de los
parques de atracciones como máxima expresión de un nuevo modelo de
capitalismo financiero, la naturalización de las infraestructuras abandonadas
como parte del paisaje urbano o el de la exploración urbana como una forma un
tanto lúdica de devolver la ciudad a la ciudadanía. Además
el texto de la propia artista Saioa Olmo, sitúa el
proyecto en tiempo y espacio adentrándose en el origen de Vuelven la
atracciones, el por qué y cómo surgió.
Cerrando la publicación se encuentra el texto del fundador de
consonni Franck Larcade que fue
responsable de Luna Park, germen de Vuelven las atracciones.

Next Thursday at 8.30pm presentation
of the book “The rides are back” in Anti- bookstore Bilbao.
In October 2007 the art producer consonni and the artist
Saioa Olmo reopened the Amusement park Artxanda of Bizkaia with the project The rides are back,
guided tours to discover the new attractions that the area offered.

Hurrengo ostegun 23, 8.30etan “Atrakzioen
itzulera” liburuaren aurkezpena izango da Bilboko Anti-liburudendan
2007ko urrian, consonni arte produktorak eta Saioa Olmo
artistak berriz ere Bizkaiako Jolas
Parkearen ateak irekitzea lortu zuten; berau itxi eta 17 urteetara,
agian, azken aldiz. Asmoa, egun parkeak eskaintzen dituen “atrakzio” berriak
aurkitzea zen.
Liburu honek orduan eginiko bisita
gidatuak dokumentatzen ditu; bisitarien ehundaka argazkiak, gidek kontaturiko
